This artwork reflects the idiom “constant dripping wears away the stone.” Inside the sculpture, water is sealed. When somebody shakes it, they can hear a faint gurgling. Each movement gradually erodes the sculpture’s surface from within. No one will ever see our inner world the way we see it ourselves. And no one will ever fully understand us. Throughout our lives, we remain immersed in our own thoughts and ideas slowly shaping ourselves. The body decays with time, while the spirit becomes smoothed into simpler forms.
